EU Presidency meetings to lead to Luas service changes

There will be an amended service running on Dublin’s Luas tram network from Wednesday 11th until Friday 13th November as the city is host to a series of EU Presidency meetings.

It is the Red line which will be impacted with the following changes in place:

  • Wednesday 11th November – normal service to The Point but Mayor Square and Spencer Dock stops will closed after 2000
  • Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November – services will operate between Tallaght/Saggart and Connolly only with no trams between Connolly and The Point

The Green line will run as normal throughout.

And in a case of excellent planning, Niall Horan will be performing concerts at 3Arena on the Thursday and Friday. This is right by The Point tramstop and anyone attending is advised there will be no trams to The Point before the concerts. However, a very limited number of trams will run non-stop from The Point to Connolly following the concerts.
