In Pictures: Blue route trams at Herdings Park

As we have seen over the past few weeks a collapsed well at Birley Lane has resulted in service changes on the South Yorkshire Supertram network. The big change is that Blue route trams from Malin Bridge are being diverted to and terminating at the usual Purple route terminus of Herdings Park (with the Purple route itself being suspended). In this pictorial article Stuart Cooke heads to Herdings Park to see some of the Blue route trams there.

108 sits at Herdings Park having terminated with a Blue route service. As it waits out time the destination display has been changed and it tells us that it will return to Malin Bridge.

Another view of 108 as it waits at Herdings Park with this view taken through the trees.

Looking back towards the single platform terminus at Herdings Park where 108 is again seen.

114 was the next tram to come to Herdings Park. Here we see it on the final approach with Herdings Park showing as its destination.
