In this week’s edition of “Trams &” we go to Manchester and it’s the usual two types of vehicle we see – a tram and a bus!
We are on Aytoun Street here, on the section of Metrolink which runs between Piccadilly and Piccadilly Gardens. It’s a busy section of tramway with regular trams passing by and with a road also running alongside there are plenty of opportunities for more unique shots (as well as risks of something else getting in between you and the tram you want to take a picture of!).
This time though its well timed as M5000 3007 approaches the camera with a service which is running to Eccles via MediaCityUK (with this being May 2025 that tells us its after the peak MediaCityUK shuttle service has stopped running).
As it does we are joined by a Bee Network bus which has yet to go Bee Network yellow as Stagecoach liveried MX13 FNO also approaches. This is a Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 hybrid.
