In Pictures: In the tram depot at East Anglia Transport Museum

In this article we again head to the East Anglia Transport Museum and this time just take a look in the main tram depot to see what was taking a break on Sunday 14th June 2026. Bryan Grint took his camera along to record these images.

At the front of the depot we see spare operational trams Sheffield 513 and Blackpool Marton VAMBAC 11 at the front. The tram service was being operated by Blackpool Brush Railcoach 634 and London Transport 1858.

Blackpool Standard 143 remains under attention and was stabled over the pit on this visit. The sign in front of the tram is part of the appeal for funds to help complete the work on 143. Amsterdam 474 can just be seen on the left.

A look at the centre destination blind and trolley tower of 11. The destination blind was set for OXFORD HOTEL.

And here we see 11 with 143 behind. (All Photographs by Bryan Grint, 14th June 2026)
