Around the World in Trams: Stockholm 335

We go once more to Stockholm for this latest edition of “Around the World in Trams”.

And its another of heritage fleet of trams which is pictured here as ASEA A12 no. 335 takes a break outside the depot. This tram was originally built in 1924 (when Sweden was still a left-hand driving country of course) and would stay serviceable until the end of the original tramway in 1968.

After a spell in heritage use in Stockholm it would head to Malmkoping in 2018, but it would just be a short-term move away from home with it back in Stockholm by 2025.

This photo shows the tram in 2007.
