There are some trams which receive the odd advert here and there, and then there is Manchester Metrolink 3081 which has just received its 12th advert! The tram is now carrying a mainly yellow design for Adidas.
This latest advert for 3081 is a simple design with the familiar Adidas logo looming large (featuring no fewer than four times on each side). The slogan FEEL FAST is used along with a website address for Adidas’ running range. Mainly yellow it also graduates to a bluey/grey colour in the centre.
The previous 12 adverts for 3081 have seen designs for IKEA, Starling Bank, GetOnBoard, Hard Rock Café, Delicia Drench Body Butter, Autotrader, Juneyao Airlines, David Hockney exhibition at Aviva Studios, JD Sports, Arndale Centre, and Power of You by Giorgio Armani. The last set of vinyls had only been removed in March 2026.
