Manchester Metrolink 3094 has receives its fourth advertising livery, and its first since November 2025, following the application of vinyls for Boots. But the total number of adverts on trams in Manchester has not changed as 3091 is now back in fleet livery.
3094 received the new advert at some point over the Easter weekend and was first noted in service on Tuesday 7th April. There has been some criticism that a lot of recent adverts have been very dark in colour but that’s not something you accuse this design of being with lots of bright colours adorning the tram.
As noted in the introduction paragraph this is the fourth advert to have been added to 3094 over the years. Previous ones have been Olivia Burton London (May-September 2019), Red Bull (June-August 2025), and NOBL Water (August-November 2025).
Meanwhile, 3091 has gone the opposite way – from advert to fleet livery. It had been advertising Prosecco since March 2025 (although a large amount of this time it was out of service at the depot) but these vinyls were finally removed at the very end of March 2026.
3091 has carried three adverts – all of them for at least a year! Go North Wales (March 2020-February 2021), Starling Bank (March 2024-March 2025), Prosecco (March 2025-March 2026).

3094 arrives at a sunny Deansgate-Castlefield on its way to Shaw. The vinyls add even more brightness to the scene! Note that the tram is using the centre track at Deansgate-Castlefield, with The Trafford Centre service now extended through to Crumpsall this line is now more readily available for services running into the city centre.
