The UKTram Heritage Tramway Committee has reached a major milestone following the news that it now has representatives from every single heritage tramway in the UK.
The news was announced by Chair of the committee, Mike Crabtree, during a recent UKTram Light Rail Operators Committee meeting.
The milestone not only reinforces UKTram’s role as a collective voice for all forms of light rail, but also reflects the growing engagement across the heritage tramway community.
The UKTram Heritage Tramway Committee are next due to meet in Birmingham on 20th April 2026. They continue to play an important role in supporting consistency, knowledge sharing and collaboration across heritage systems, helping operators exchange practical insight and strengthen capability across the sector.
