We go “15 Years Apart” once again and we’re off to Nottingham for this edition to see how 211 has changed between 2010 and 2025.
In 2010, Nottingham Express Transit Incentro 211 was for the very first time out of full fleet livery as it received this wrap (although keeping the ends in fleet livery) which was a form of self-promotion encouraging people to “Tram It!” in a multi coloured design. We see the tram here coming into Old Market Square with a service to Station Street on 11th March 2010. This wrap remained in place until 2012.
On 15th September 2025 and we find that 211 is again not in fleet livery (it hadn’t been a constant though as there were around five years between 2019 and 2024 where it carried fleet colours) as it is now carrying an advert for Mark’s Electrical. This bright blue ad was added to the tram in the January of 2024 and has remained in place ever since. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior)
