The first week of March 2026 has seen another new advert appear on a tram in Manchester with 3104 the chosen one this time. It is now advertising the MOBO Awards, which will be taking place at Co-Op Live on Thursday 26th March.
This advert – which is the second awards ceremony this year to feel the need to promote itself on a tram after 3076 and 3107 advertised the BRIT Awards – is a mainly black affair and is also incredibly simple! It basically contains the words MOBO AWARDS MANCHESTER 26 MARCH 2026 between the two sets on doors on each section of the tram and WHERE MUSIC MEETS HISTORY CO OP LIVE along the top of the tram. And that is it!
This is the third advert to be carried by 3104. This only started in August 2025 with a design for Manchester Airport which remained on the tram until October 2025 and then between October and December 2025 it had partial advertising vinyls for Singin’ In The Rain.
