Manchester Metrolink Engineering Works: 22nd & 23rd March

There will be more engineering works on Manchester Metrolink over the weekend of Saturday 22^nd and Sunday 23^rd March to allow for track renewal at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar.

During these works the following service changes will be in place:

• Altrincham services will terminate at Old Trafford
• East Didsbury and Manchester Airport services will terminate at Firswood
• No trams will also run between Deansgate-Castlefield and Exchange Square/Market Street/Piccadilly Gardens

The planned service pattern will be:

Saturday 22^nd March

• Bury to Ashton-under-Lyne
• Bury to Etihad Campus (0900-1830 only)
• Victoria to Etihad Campus (1830-2359 only)
• Altrincham to Old Trafford (every 10 minutes)
• Eccles to Deansgate-Castlefield via MediaCityUK
• The Trafford Centre to Deansgate-Castlefield
• Rochdale Town Centre to Exchange Square
• Shaw & Crompton to Victoria (0900-1830 only)
• East Didsbury to Firswood
• Manchester Airport to Firswood

Sunday 23^rd March

• Bury to Ashton-under-Lyne
• Altrincham to Old Trafford
• Eccles to Deansgate-Castlefield via MediaCityUK
• The Trafford Centre to Deansgate-Castlefield
• Etihad Campus to Victoria
• Rochdale Town Centre to Exchange Square
• East Didsbury to Firswood
• Manchester Airport to Firswood

During the works there will be replacement buses running Chorlton-Victoria and Old Trafford-Piccadilly. Tickets will also be accepted at no extra charge on Bee Network buses numbers 23, 25, 85, 85A and 86. If attempting to use any other bus an additional ticket will need to be purchased.

Normal tram services are due to resume from the start of service on Monday 24^th March.
