More new Metro trains carry their first passengers

There have been a further three of new trains on the Tyne and Wear Metro which have entered service since our last update, bringing the total number used so far up to 22.

Contactless payments coming to West Midlands Metro

West Midlands Metro is set to be latest tram network in the UK to offer the opportunity to “Tap In” and “Tap Out” to pay for their travel with the start of the installation of validators on tramstop platforms.
