It is time for another edition of “Trams &” and this time we go to Manchester Victoria to see a tram and train in the same image.
In this image we look from the railway station side of the complex as a tram approaches the tramstop. That tram is 3017 which is working an Altrincham to Bury service and its just passing the pedestrian access to the platforms as seen with the bright yellow handrails.
Closer to us is Northern Rail DMU, 195 011 which is waiting at the station for departure with its next service. This DMU was built as part of a batch of trains by CAF in Spain between 2017 and 2022, with the class starting to be introduced into service from 2019.
