Another edition of “Trams &” as we go to Birmingham for a photo of a tram on the West Midlands Metro network and a bus operated by National Express West Midlands.
This photo was taken on the Birmingham Westside extension by the Town Hall stop and shows West Midlands Metro 28 heading away from the camera on the way to Edgbaston Village. The tram is just turning across Suffolk Street Queensway and go onto Lyon Queensway as it heads to the next stop at Library.
Meanwhile, coming the other way (although it will turn to the left of this shot instead of coming straight towards us which is a tram only section) is a bus being operated by National Express West Midlands with service 87 to Dudley. The bus – with the fleet number 6956 – is an ADL Enviro 400 MMC.
