Today “Trams &” goes to the National Tramway Museum as we take a look at not one, but two trams as well as a coach.
This image was taken on 13th September 2026 during the recent Tram Weekend and shows two trams which called Leeds their home throughout their main operating career – 345 and 399. They have both just arrived back on the main museum street with passengers about to allowed off to continue their visit (and probably to try and get a ride on another tram!).
The coach was built in 1950 as a BMMO C2 (later being rebuilt as CL2) and carried the fleet number 3352 in the Midland Red coach fleet. It is now preserved and goes round the rally circuit throughout the year.
