Stop by Stop London Trams: Central Croydon – West Croydon

Its time for another edition of “Stop by Stop” as we take a journey on the London Trams system. We’ve made it into central Croydon now and continue our way around the single track loop in the town centre.

The tram departs Centrale and continues along Tamworth Road on its single track. The railway line into West Croydon becomes visible on the left as reach a road junction with North End, after passing that junction we’re onto Station Road for the final approach to West Croydon tramstop.

With West Croydon bus station on the right, the tramstop is again a single platform and features a living wall which is the barrier between the edge of the platform at the railway line below. The platform also has all the usual things we see on tram platforms across the network.
