Saturday 22nd August 2026 saw the latest outing for replica Llandudno & Colwyn Bay Electric Railway 7 as it was displayed in the centre of Llandudno. The tram hadn’t been seen out and about in North Wales for a while as the trailer it is hauled on had a tyre issue but with this fixed it was the chance for the tram to go on display.
The ever-trusty Matador lorry was used to transport the tram and it was displayed outside Trinity Church throughout the day in fine sunny weather. As always, the tram was open to allow visitors on board to see inside the lower saloon at the high quality cosmetic restoration – which it may be hard to believe was completed 20 years ago now!
