As we’ve reported several times over the past month, Edinburgh Trams are currently only able to operate between the Airport and West End because of the major fire in the former Debenhams building on Princes Street which has seen the road passing it closed. This has meant that the crossover at West End is being used in regular service by trams as they depart the stop and we see a few shots in this article from the camera of Richard Delahoy.
The last update from the City of Edinburgh Council in the last week of July said that it would be at least three weeks before the road would reopen and as a result expect to see West End as a terminus for a while yet.

257 – one of the 10 Emirates trams – has just departed from West End as it embarks on a journey to the Airport. The front three sections have already come across to the right track whilst the rest of the tram continues that move.
