West Midlands Metro service changes

There will be changes to services running on the West Midlands Metro on various dates during July and August 2026. This will allow both overhead upgrade works to continue as well as road resurfacing on Bilston Road to take place.

Monday 20th July to Tuesday 28th July – from 2000 each day

No trams will run between Priestfield and Wolverhampton Station or Wolverhampton St George’s after 2000 to allow road surface repairs to take place.

Normal services will run until 2000 (final departures from Wolverhampton Station will be at 2000 and from Wolverhampton St George’s at 1954) before a revised service starts between Priestfield and Edgbaston Village via Millennium Point until the end of service.

Tram tickets will be accepted on National Express bus service 79 between Wolverhampton and West Bromwich.
