Around the World in Trams: Mattapan Line 3268

We carry on with “Around the World in Trams” as we are still in the USA on the Mattapan Line.

As we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks the Mattapan Line is exclusively operated by a fleet of 1940s PCC cars at the moment. They run the 2.6 mile long line as they have done for many decades.

This is 3268 which is at Mattapan. This car was built by the Pullman-Standard Car Company in 1946 and has called Boston home ever since it was constructed.
