We have another edition of “Picture in Time” for you this evening and we again take a look at a red and white tram running on Croydon Tramlink.
We have moved to Sandilands for this photo and its 12th March 2008 that this image of 2543 was captured. At this time all of the trams were still in this livery although from the October of this year we would start to see the now very familiar (its been on the trams longer than red and white by a long way now) green/white/blue livery added to the fleet of CR4000 trams.
2543 has been in Croydon since 1st March 1999.
