This is the last edition of “Around the World in Trams” from Warsaw in Poland as we bring it bang up-to-date with one of the newest models of tram to run in the city.
Requiring more trams, Warsaw ordered a significant fleet of trams from Korean manufacturer Hyundai Rotem in 2019. These would come in three different sub-classes – 140N (bi-directional), 141N (unidirectional) and 142N (shorter version). All were due to be in service by April 2023.
This view shows 4103 which is one of 18 141Ns which entered service, this particular example being built in June 2022. It is still in service during 2026.
