Its one final photo from Istanbul as “Around the World in Trams” continues.
istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi’nin (IBB) 701 and another similar car train at the Sultanahmet Istasyonu platform. This car is heading towards Cemberlitas. This is one of fifty-five Bombardier Flexity Swift low floor tram vehicles ordered for the T1 line in 2001. They went into service in 2004 after the platforms on this 1992 built tramline were rebuilt for low floor cars.
