Plans for new ramp at Radcliffe Metrolink stop

A new ramp providing step free access to the Manchester Metrolink stop at Radcliffe has been recommended for approval by Bury Council. The ramp would provide a third entrance to the stop for passengers and would give direct access to the eastern platform from Spring Lane and Church Street West.

The ramp would be four metres wide and 155 metres long, with steps also provide for more direct access. It would meet all current access regulations and would have lighting as well as CCTV fitted.

Funding for the construction will come via the Active Travel Fund.
