Having the missed the last couple of years because of the pandemic, Nottingham’s Goose Fair is back for 2022 and whilst it does mean that The Forest Park and Ride site is closed it also means that there will be extra tram services running as the crowds head back to the Fair.
Alison Sweeney, NET Head of Marketing, said: “As Goose Fair makes a welcome return to Nottingham, we’re putting a range of measures in place across the tram network to help residents and visitors enjoy ‘all the fun of the fair’. With our group tickets offering great value for families, extra trams running at peak times, and park-and-ride sites offering convenient car-free travel, the tram is the best way to reach Goose Fair so we look forward to helping thousands of visitors celebrate the return of this iconic event.”
Extra trams will run between Bulwell and Beeston at times during the Goose Fair with the following timetable set to be in operation:
Thursday 29th September – normal timetable
Friday 30th September & Saturday 1st October – trams every 7-10 minutes 0600-2200, then every 15 minutes until end of service
Sunday 2nd October – trams every 7-10 minutes 0600-2000, then every 15 minutes until end of service
Monday 3rd to Wednesday 5th October – trams every 7-10 minutes 0700-2100, then every 15 minutes between 0600-0700 and 2100 to end of service
Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th October – trams every 7-10 minutes 0600-2200, then every 15 minutes until end of service

The Forest Park and Ride site is closed throughout the Fair and up to 0600 on Thursday 13th October. Anyone who usually uses the site is advised to use one of the other Park and Ride sites on the network – although the closest at Wilkinson Street is likely to get very busy.
