Vaping banned on the Metro after introduction of new byelaw

Vaping and the use of electronic cigarettes is now banned on the Tyne and Wear Metro following the introduction of a new byelaw from 1st July 2025. This comes after a consultation earlier this year.

Car and tram collide on London Trams

Services on the London Trams network were disrupted on Tuesday 26th August after a car and tram collided close to Merton Park tramstop. The collision happened just after 1530 and led to four people having to be taken to hospital.
