London Trams Engineering Works: 5th to 18th April

School holidays? You all know what that tends to mean – more engineering works on the London Trams network! Starting from Saturday 5th April and continuing until Friday 18th April there will be no service from Sandilands to New Addington as more improvement works take place.

During this two week period trams will continue to run:

  • Wimbledon to Beckenham Junction
  • Wimbledon to Elmers End

A replacement bus service will also be available for anyone wishing to travel between East Croydon and New Addington, with normal service buses also available for passengers to complete their journeys. Lloyd Park will not be served by any replacement bus owing to these works.

Works during this closure will include maintenance work between Coombe Lane and Gravel Hill, at Sandilands Tunnel, King Henry’s Drive and Lloyd Park. Road resurfacing will also take place along with platform works at various stops and vegetation maintenance.
