Supertram rail replacement works come to an end

The latest stage of Stagecoach Supertram’s rail replacement works will come to an end at the start of October with a normal Blue route service able to resume from Monday 5th October.

The works in the vicinity of Crystal Peaks have been ongoing since 15th September but will now be completed on Sunday 4th October (as scheduled) allowing a full resumption of Blue route services through to Halfway. This is the last section of works due to take place in 2020 which has seen major work take place affecting the Blue route throughout the summer.

As from Monday 5th October the following services will run on Stagecoach Supertram:

Blue Route: Malin Bridge to Halfway on the usual timetable

Yellow Route: Middlewood to Meadowhall on the usual timetable

Purple Route: Cathedral to Herdings Park on the usual timetable

Tram-Train: Cathedral to Rotherham Parkgate with two services an hour
