In Pictures: Classic Transport Gathering at Crich

Sunday 20th May was another chance to see the trams of Crich running alongside visiting cars as part of the Classic Transport Gathering. A creditable five trams were provided for service on the day and there was also the added excitement of Halle 902 being shunted by Blackpool 762 in preparation for its move to Blackpool (where it will meet up with the other Jubilee Car of course also stored at Rigby Road!)

With a car on Bowes Lyon Bridge and a van seen through the pedestrian arch Glasgow 22 heads under the bridge back to the town.

Another shot of 22 at the Bandstand with cars seemingly parked everywhere!

In the depot yard and Halle 902 is seen being shunted by Blackpool 762.

Berlin 223 006-4 outside the depot gates with company from yet another vintage vehicle.

A busy scene at Stephenson Place with London County Council 106 leading a queue of Blackpool 166, London United Tramways 159 and Glasgow 22 as Chesterfield 7 heads out. (All Photographs by Hazel Quarmby)
