We make no apologies for the number of mentions and photos of Blackpool & Fleetwood Box 40 which have appeared on British Trams Online over the past few weeks and here are some more! We start off with some more images of the tram during testing and also we take a look at the tram as it ran alongside the other 40 (Blackpool Standard 40). Thanks to Hazel Quarmby for these photos.
On 27th July we see 40 during testing and it passes Blackpool & Fleetwood Rack 2.

On 5th August Blackpool & Fleetwood Box 40 ran alongside Blackpool Standard 40 for the first time in a very long time. London United Tramways 159 was also in action on this day as shown here at Stephenson Place.

It musn't be forgotten that as well as Box 40 celebrating its 100th birthday this year it is also 100 years since the outbreak of World War One. 40 passes a screen of poppies. (All Photos: Hazel Quarmby)
