Photos this week come from the East Anglia Transport Museum as we see trams, trolleybuses and buses during the Seaside Special event:

This week there are updates this week to the Blackpool Tramway (photo links), Crich Tramway Village (photo links), Docklands Light Railway (scrapping update), Douglas Bay Horse Tramway (last operating dates), East Anglia Transport Museum (photo links), Edinburgh Trams (new adverts and photo link), Manchester Metrolink (tram departing for repair, new advert and photo links), Manx Electric Railway (last operating date), Nottingham Express Transit (photo links), Tyne and Wear Metro (scrapping update) and West Midlands Metro (advert removed, new advert and photo links) Fleet Lists. There are also updates to the Edinburgh Trams (new adverts and photo link), Manchester Metrolink (new advert and photo links) and West Midlands Metro (new advert, advert removed and photo links) Advert Lists.

Its not often that we feature anything but a tram on the cover photo but you have to admit that this is a very special non-tram! We’re at the East Anglia Transport Museum for this photo as we see the classic view at Chapel Road of two trams and a trolleybus. The trams probably need little introduction as they are Blackpool pair Marton VAMBAC 11 and Brush Railcoach 634 and then they are joined by stunning Bournemouth trolleybus 202 – an unique open topper which has recently enjoyed a repaint into the bright yellow and maroon livery of Bournemouth Corporation. Date is 12th July 2025. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
