For the last Sunday evening for a little while we are going back to our “Then & Now” to take a look at a couple of images showing Manchester Metrolink lines during construction and once trams were running in service.

“Then & Now” today returns to Manchester Metrolink’s South Manchester line as we continue this series where we see images before the trams arrived and after they started running.

We continue our journey along Manchester Metrolink’s South Manchester line in this edition of “Then & Now” looking at how things were before and after the trams arrived.

As we continue our “Then & Now” series looking at Manchester Metrolink before or during construction and then after trams started running we are back at Ayres Road.

“Then & Now” moves away from the Manchester Airport line this week and we instead head onto the South Manchester line (although Airport line trams do also traverse the section we feature here).

Staying on the Manchester Airport line of Metrolink for today’s edition of “Then & Now” as we take a look at another section of street running on that line.

We continue our “Manchester Metrolink Then & Now” series today as we take a third look at Hardy Lane on the route of the Manchester Airport line.
