More photos this week as we head to London Trams for a selection taken earlier this month:
Photos: London Trams – 21st April 2025
This week we have some new fleet lists added as we make some changes to trams on the Wirral – Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society features the trams still owned by that organisation whilst Wirral Transport Museum and Tramway includes those trams still on site in the museum and at Pacific Road. We also add South Wales Metro which has the class 398 tram-trains due to enter service later this year. As well as that there are updates this week to the Crich Tramway Village (last operating dates and photo links), Douglas Bay Horse Tramway (last operating dates), East Anglia Transport Museum (photo links), London Trams (photo links), Manchester Metrolink (new advert and photo links), Snaefell Mountain Railway (last operating dates), Tyne and Wear Metro (confirmation of new trains withdrawal) and West Midlands Metro (photo links) Fleet Lists. There are also updates to the Manchester Metrolink (new advert and photo links) Advert List.

Some trams are out of service for short periods and then there are some which aren’t seen with passengers on board for quite some time. London Trams 2547 definitely comes into the latter category with it missing in action between February 2019 and March 2025, but it is now back in service after the completion of repairs which included a trip to Ilford. On 21st April 2025 we see the tram as it approaches Gravel Hill with a service to New Addington. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
