Notes:
This fleet list contains details of all trams located at either the Wirral Transport Museum at Taylor Street or at the Pacific Road centre. The museum remains closed with its future currently uncertain following the removal of Council funding. The status of all vehicles has been changed to "On Display" although they are not currently visible to the public whilst the museum is closed. The trawmay itself has not operated since early 2023. The MTPS have removed the majority of their trams - with the exception of Warrington 28.
Birkenhead 7 is located at Pacific Road.
Warrington 28 is owned by the Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society. It had been undergoing restoration at the Transport Museum, Taylor Street, having arrived on 24th July 2004. The tram is in fact Warrington 2 but a decision made by the MTPS membership in 2015 was that as it is to be restored to open balcony condition it should be given a new identity. It is expected to be moved to another location in the future.
Birkenhead 69 and Birkenhead 70 were built in Hong Kong for use on the tramway in the early 1990s. They both remain owned by Wirral Borough Council.
Liverpool 245 is owned by Liverpool City Museums.
GKD317 is a Guy Tower Wagon which was originally used for maintenance of the tramway overhead in Liverpool before being used for lighting work.
