Come on what else did you expect to feature as our cover photo this week?! It is of course London County Council 1 on launch day – Friday 13th September 2024 – as its ten year, £500,000 restoration came to an end and it carried its first passengers for 67 years with Leeds in 1957 being its last use. Running for all three days over the weekend the stunningly restored tram is seen here passing Victoria Park at the Crich Tramway Village on one of its first trips. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
