There are updates this week to the Blackpool Tramway (location update), Manchester Metrolink (advert changes and photo links), Stagecoach Supertram (photo links), Tyne and Wear Metro (more trains deliverd) and West Midlands Metro (status update) Fleet Lists as well as the Manchester Metrolink (advert changes and photo links) Advert List.
Manchester Metrolink 3047 is celebrating Christmas with a special vinyl wrap encouraging people to use the wider Bee Network to get around this festive season. With the tram calling at Piccadilly Gardens we see the tram on 15th December 2023. (Photograph by Michael Morton)
With this being our last “main site” update of 2023 we take this opportunity to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Whether you have contributer, are a regular reader or an impromptu lurker thank you for coming by British Trams Online! Its been without a doubt a challenging year for many tramways – both heritage and modern – but despite that there have still been some highlights and we can once again look forward to the future when some long-term projects may finally be coming to an end! We will be taking a small break from main site updates until January 2024 but the News & Features section will continue to be updated daily throughout the festive period as our celebration photo series continue and we round-up the last of the news from the year. Please note comments will not be published on any articles from 24th December to 1st January and emails will also not be responded to within this time. See you all next year!
