More old Metro trains go for scrap

The big changeover of the fleet of trains on the Tyne and Wear Metro has continued over the past few days as we’ve seen two more of the original Metrocars go on a final journey to the scrap merchants.

Edinburgh Trams extend partnership with Edinburgh Rugby

Edinburgh Trams have extended their commitment towards getting people to rugby matches at The Hive (the smaller stadium next to Murrayfield in the city) as a Community Impact Partner for Edinburgh Rugby throughout the 2025/26 season.
