Llandudno & Colwyn Bay Electric Railway 7 made another appearance in 2023 as part of the Llandudno Christmas Parade which took place on Saturday 2nd December. The tram – on the back of the Llandudno & Colwyn Bay Tramway Society’s trusted Matador lorry – was at the back of the Parade and once again provided a highlight for those watching.
The Society also have bogies from Lisbon 305 and for the first time one of these had been cleaned up and made its debut appearance in the Parade, also sitting on the back of the Matador lorry.
The Parade started from Llandudno Railway Station and proceeded via Vaughan Street and Mostyn Street to the Town Hall in Lloyd Street.
Complete with lights to add to the festive spirit 7 is seen being hauled by the Matador lorry. The bogies from Lisbon 305 are just in front of the tram.
