With King Charles III’s Coronation taking place on Saturday 6th May various organisations around the country are preparing to mark the occasion. One of those has been the Crich Tramway Village where regal purple liveried Leeds 602 has been moved out of the Great Exhibition Hall to go on display. After visiting the Workshop for an inspection we see 602 here being shunted into the depots, complete with added Coronation decorations. This was on 23rd April 2023. (Photograph by Peter Whiteley)
