* Apologies if at the moment things take a little longer from appearing on the website or they are a bit more brief than usual. Unfortunately, work commitments are getting in the way of spending time on anything to do with the website and as they pay my wages it does have to take priority!

Sunday 10th April 2022 saw the belated 40th anniversary celebrations of the Heaton Park Tramway. Marketed as the 40th(+2) event it also marked the start of another season of operation on the tramway which is in effect the only preserved tramway in the UK. In this photo we see all four of the operational trams at Heaton Park with left to right showing Hull 96, Manchester 765, Stockport 5 and Blackpool 623 (behind 5) outside Middleton Road Depot. A fifth tram can also just be seen with Manchester 173 in the background. (Photograph by Joshua Haworth)
