In Pictures: Blackpool Tramway 014 returns to fleet livery

It will no longer be Wednesday every day in Blackpool as the full vinyl wrap for the Netflix series has now been removed from 014. The tram is now back in full fleet livery (for the first time since 2012!), with the previous above window ads advertising how to advertise on the trams also removed (unsurprisingly as it was an outside company dealt with that).

The Wednesday advert – the second full wrap on the tram after it briefly advertised JD Sports in October 2018 – had first been applied in August 2025 and then saw a slight revision the following month (the window vinyls were changed). It was always expected to be a short-term advert, although it outlived the similar ad on Manchester Metrolink which was removed about a month ago.

With the advert removed it leaves 012 (Pleasure Beach) and 016 (Coral Island) with full wraps whilst 001 (Blackpool Zoo) and 013 (Hole in the Wand mini golf) have “T” style adverts. There are also now eight trams which are completely void of any external advertising.
