Blackpool Tramway – September 2025
This week there are updates this week to the Blackpool Tramway (photo links), Crich Tramway Village (photo links and tram locations), Edinburgh Trams (new advert and photo links), Manchester Metrolink (new adverts and adverts removed), Manx Electric Railway (photo links), Snaefell Mountain Railway (photo links), Tyne and Wear Metro (new trains delivered) and West Midlands Metro (photo links) Fleet Lists. There are also updates to the Edinburgh Trams (new advert and photo links) and Manchester Metrolink (new advert and advert removed) Advert Lists.
A fire in the centre of Blackpool on 27th September 2025 meant that trams were unable to run up Talbot Road to North Station which led to trams being diverted to and terminating at North Pier. Having terminated with a service from Fleetwood Ferry at North Pier 012 then uses the crossover to head to the northbound stop and run a service back to Fleetwood Ferry. As it performs that maneouvre 004 patiently waits before it can call at North Pier on its way to Starr Gate. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
