The British Trams Online Tramway (Modern) of the Year was Manchester Metrolink – winning by just a single vote from Edinburgh Trams. 2024 saw the network enjoy record-breaking passeger numbers as the post Covid recovery continued on the UK’s largest tram system. This photo is taken close to Salford Quays tramstop on the Eccles line and shows 3135 going to Etihad Campus as 3122 heads in the opposite direction to Eccles on 19th March 2024.
