In Pictures: Now a new advert for 3118 in Manchester

The popularity of Manchester’s trams with advertisers seems to be showing no signs of waning with 3118 the latest of the Metrolink M5000s to receive a vinyl wrap. It’s a first ad for the tram which in the process becomes the highest numbered tram in the Manchester fleet to have ever worn something which isn’t fleet livery!

3118 is now advertising Tommy Hilfiger – another global brand who see Metrolink as the place to advertise – with the main body of the tram now in dark blue with images of people who look very pleased to be wearing clothing from the fashion retailer.

  1. John Gilbert says:

Very glad to see that many of the new adverts on trams do not have the contravision covering all the main windows. This is a great help to the visually impaired as they can see where they are on the system. Thank you Metrolink.
