Photos: Heaton Park Tramway – Blackpool 619 returns to service 26th March 2023
There are updates to the Crich Tramway Village (last operating dates and photo links), Edinburgh Trams (photo links), Heaton Park Tramway (last operating dates and photo links), Manchester Metrolink (new adverts, adverts removed and photo links) and West Midlands Metro (photo links) Fleet Lists as well as the Edinburgh Trams (photo links) and Manchester Metrolink (new adverts and photo links) Advert Lists.
On Sunday 26th March 2023 the Heaton Park Tramway welcomed Blackpool Replica Vanguard 619 back to service following the conclusion of its overhaul – it had last been part of the main operating fleet in 2017. To mark the occasion – and to start the new season – a special event took place at the tramway which saw a couple of visiting buses in attendance and a two tram service with Blackpool Brush 623 also in service. The two trams are seen together at Middleton Road Gates towards the end of the event. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
