There will be engineering works affecting Stagecoach Supertram services this April which will see some service changes. The majority will be late night works but there will also be Network Rail works taking place at Easter which impact the Tram-Train service.
Monday 3rd April
No service from Shalesmoor to Middlewood/Malin Bridge after 2200 for rail replacement works. Both Blue and Yellow route service after this time will only run as far as Shalesmoor.
- Last Halfway-Malin Bridge service will be 2047 from Halfway
- Last Malin Bridge-Halfway service will be 2150 from Malin Bridge
- Last Meadowhall-Middlewood service will be 2050 from Meadowhall
- Last Middlewood-Meadowhall service will be 2132 from Middlewood
- Additional service will run Shalesmoor-Cricket Inn Road at 2152
- 2350 Meadowhall service will be extended from Cathedral to Shalesmoor
- No replacement buses will but Supertram tickets will be accepted on local bus services
Tuesday 4th April
No service from Sheffield Station to Halfway/Herdings Park after 2200 for rail replacement works. Later Blue route services will operate between Malin Bridge and Sheffield Station only with no services on the Purple route.
- Last Malin Bridge-Halfway service will be 2020
- Last Halfway-Malin Bridge service will be 2117
- 2050 from Malin Bridge will run as advertised to Gleadless Townend and then divert to Herdings Park
- Additional Purple route service will run from Herdings Park to Cricket Inn Road via Cathedral at 2139
- Last Cathedral-Herdings Park service will be 2121, returning from Herdings Park at the earlier time of 2147. Upon arrival at Cathedral this will go to Cricket Inn Road.

Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th April
Network Rail engineering works are taking place meaning there will be no Tram-Train services to Rotherham Central and Rotherham Parkgate. The Tram-Train service will instead be running Cathedral to Meadowhall.
Supertram tickets will be valid on both local bus services and the Northern Rail replacement bus service.

What’s the point of running the Tram Train Cathederal to Meadowhell? Isn’t there already a normal supertram route that does that?
It means that there isn’t any service cut on the Cathedral to Meadowhall South section and Meadowhall is a convenient place for those services to turn.
