The evening of Monday 13th March 2023 saw a major milestone in the Trams to Newhaven project in Edinburgh as 258 became the first tram to run on the extension with the initial test runs taking place. The tram made it all the way to Newhaven and rather than heading back to depot aftewards then spent all of the following day at Ocean Terminal. And that’s where we see 258 on 14th March – a scene which will become normal practice in the months to come. (Photograph by Roy Calderwood)
