What’s New on British Trams Online? 5th December 2021

We have one small collection of photos added this week as we return to Crich:

Gallery 986: Crich Tramway Village – Tram Day 18th September 2021

There are updates to the Beamish (photo links), Blackpool Tramway (photo links), Crich Tramway Village (photo links), Edinburgh Trams (photo links), Manchester Metrolink (new tram arrived and photo links), Nottingham Express Transit (photo links) and Tyne & Wear Metro (photo links) Fleet Lists along with the Nottingham Express Transit (photo links) Advert List.

As usual we will be featuring some of the nominees for the Tram of the Year contest as “Picture of the Week” over the next few updates and starting alphabetically we show Amsterdam 474 (with some friends!) at the East Anglia Transport Museum. 474 was returned to service during 2021 and has settled in well back in regular use. On 7th August 2021 we see 474 at the museum with Blackpool 159 on the left and Copenhagen trolleybus 5 closest to the camera. The trolleybus was built by Garretts of Leiston in Suffolk before being exported to Denmark and is possibly the world’s oldest working trolleybus. (Photograph by Tim Major)
