There will again be disruption to normal services on Luas over the weekend of 5th and 6th September with the Red line being closed between Blackhorse and Heuston throughout the weekend. As previously, Connolly Station will not be served by either trams or buses during the weekend but all other affected sections will see a replacement bus service.
When? Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September
Where? No trams on the Red line between Blackhorse and Heuston. A normal tram service will operate Tallaght/Saggart to Blackhorse and from Heuston to The Point.
Replacement buses? Yes between Blackhorse and Heuston every 15 minutes. Eastbound buses will only serve Blackhorse, Suir Road, James’ and Heuston with Westbound buses calling at Heuston, James’, Suir Road, Goldenbridge, Drimnagh and Blackhorse. Other tramstops will not be served because of limited bus set down areas.
A normal service is due to resume from the start of service on Monday 7th September.
