LEGO returns to Crich!

Another popular family event returns to the Crich Tramway Village on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th August – and it involves a lot of LEGO! Over the past few years Build It! has established itself as a regular event at the museum and it always proves to be popular with visiting families.

During the event visitors can help to create a giant mosaic which ends up in an amazing image of one of the trams in the national collection. Its aimed that the mosaic will start to be created from 1000 on Monday 18th August and will then be completed by midday on Tuesday 19th August.

Candi Bell, Events Manager, said: “The event, run in conjunction with Fairy Bricks, has proved so popular over the last few years, with a different mosaic created each year. Visitors enjoy the fact that they can really get involved in its creation and take photos of the image when complete, as a lasting memory.”

Its not just LEGO in the mosaic either with there due to be brick pits in the Exhibition Hall for younger visitors to the museum.
